This tutorial covers my process of creating dynamic creature concepts inside of ZBrush, for games and movies. Ideal for prototyping an idea and presenting it to your client or art director. I share my techniques on building forms quickly to communicate a rough idea with with specific brush presets. This course teaches the process of creating dynamic characters and creatures, utilizing illustration techniques in Photoshop to create believable and appealing designs. Students will use Photoshop to develop their designs, going through the stages of research, concept, and critique before designing a well-developed character or creature.
In this course you will learn from scratch on how to create creature and digitally sculpt in Zbrush using a modern modeling technique used in the industry. We start with very basis stuff like Zbrush worklfow and process and followed by creating rough basic base mesh for the creature, then demonstrate the sculpting process, texture creation using cutting edge PBR method, then finally setting up lighting and rendering for presentation purposes.
